Wie schon auf ihrem Debüt, vereinen Brixtonboogie auch auf „Crossing Borders" traditionellen und modernen Blues - mit dem Unterschied, dass dieses Mal noch mehr experimentiert wird. Brixtonboogie agieren auf dem neuen Longplayer grenzüberschreitend, bewegen sicher aber nicht weit entfernt von ihren Wurzeln. „Crossing Borders" ist die konsequente Weiterentwicklung" ihres 2009 veröffentlichten Debütalbums "Urban Blues", das damals Platz 1 der iTunes Blues Charts erreichte.
