Im Zentrum steht die visuell wie emotional eindrucksvolle Beziehung zwischen Band und Publikum. Der Feature-Film auf Blu-Ray 1 zeigt Depeche Mode nicht nur auf der Bühne, sondern eingebettet in eine Kultur, die mit dem Tod anders umgeht – offener, poetischer, gemeinschaftlicher. Archivmaterial, Statements und Stadtimpressionen fügen sich zu einem dichten Porträt. Blu-Ray 2 ist der pure Konzertrausch: MEMENTO MORI: MEXICO CITY, gedreht unter der Regie von Fernando Frías, liefert über zwei Stunden Liveshow vom Feinsten – aufgenommen bei den drei ausverkauften Konzerten im Foro Sol Stadion 2023.
Die beiden beiliegenden CDs enthalten den vollständigen Audio-Mitschnitt des Konzerts sowie vier bisher unveröffentlichte Studioaufnahmen aus den Memento Mori-Sessions – ein Geschenk für Sammler und Liebhaber.
