Elvis Presley mit neuer 2 CD-Edition des Albums 'Today'

Im Mai bis Juni 1975 fand die letzte große Studio Session im RCA Studio C in Hollywood statt. Die Doppel-CD "Today (40th Anniversary Edition)" präsentiert u.a. die Ergebnisse dieser Aufnahme-Session. Das Album bietet Elvis Presleys Interpretationen von Klassikern wie Tom Jones “Green, Green Grass Of Home”, Don McLeans “And I Love You So” oder zum Beispiel von The Pointer Sisters “Fairytale”. Dazu das Rock’n’Roll angehauchte “T-R-O-U-B-L-E”, - ein Top 40 Hit. Erstmals ist auf dem Album neben dem Original auch ein alternativer Mix der Songs zu hören. Auf der zweiten CD gibt es eine Liveaufnahme der Elvis Presley Südstaaten-Tour aus dem o.a. Zeitraum.
