Die britische Progressive-Rock-Band Jethro Tull veröffentlicht am 24. März 2017 ihr 23. Studioalbum mit dem Titel "The String Quartets". Wie der Titel es schon erahnen lässt, das neue Werk ist ein ganz besonderes Album. "Jethro Tull - The String Quartets" zeigt beliebte und bekannte Jethro Tull Songs in neuem, klassischen Format und ist nicht nur für Fans der Band eine tolle Erfahrung. Die Idee dazu kam Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull Frontman und Flötist, und Keyboarder John O'Hara schon vor einiger Zeit, doch erst als sie das Carducci Quartet bei einer Veranstaltung des Londoner Symphonie Orchesters sahen, begannen sie das Vorhaben in die Tat umzusetzen. Das Resultat lässt sich hören!
