Im Jahr 1993 erschien das letzte Studioalbum „Phobia“ der Kinks. Seinerzeit weitgehend überhört, wird die CD nun wiederveröffentlicht und offenbart einige der schönsten Songs aus der Spätphase der Erfinder von „You Really Got Me“ und „Lola“. „Phobia“ wurde nach der Veröffentlichung 1993 in der Öffentlichkeit weitestgehend übersehen. Dabei bot das Album mit der bewährten Kinks-Mischung aus Hardrock, Popballaden und sarkastischen Texten jede Menge lohnende Songs.
