Das Beste der 80er Kultband Spandau Ballet

Ende der 1970er Jahre starteten Gary Kemp (Gitarre), Tony Hadley (Gesang), Steve Norman (Rhythmusgitarre, Percussion), John Keeble (Drums) und Richard Miller (der am Bass später durch Garys Bruder Martin ersetzt wurde) in der Londoner Underground- und Clubszene als "The Makers". Nach einer Reise nach Berlin änderten sie den Bandnamen in Spandau Ballet. Durch zahlreiche Auftritte in der Londoner Clubszene avancierten Spandau Ballet anfangs zu Trendsettern zwischen elektronischer Tanzmusik und Funk.
