Grammy Awards 2016: die wichtigsten Nominierten

LOS ANGELES (FIRSTNEWS) - Die Nominierten der Grammy Awards 2016 stehen fest. Als großer Favorit geht Kendrick Lamar ins Rennen um den begehrtesten Musikpreis der Branche. Ganze elf Nominierungen hat der US-Rapper erhalten, unter anderem in den wichtigen Kategorien "Song des Jahres" für "Alright" und "Album des Jahres" für "To Pimp a Butterfly". Ebenfalls beste Chancen haben Taylor Swift und The Weekend. Die US-Sängerin und der kanadische Musiker sind für jeweils sieben Auszeichnungen nominiert. Einige europäische Künstler dürfen sich auch Hoffnungen auf den einen oder anderen Grammy machen. Beispielsweise Ed Sheeran in der Kategorie "Aufnahme des Jahres" für "Thinking Out Loud". Sein englischer Landsmann James Bay könnte zudem als "Bester neuer Künstler" ausgezeichnet werden. Vergeben werden die Grammy Awards am 15. Februar in Los Angeles.
